First illustration for me in 2023 and I chose to create a new portrait of Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, originally named Luke Starkiller, from the Star Wars Universe of stories. Our New Year’s Eve tradition is a Star Wars marathon so it seemed natural that the first piece I create for the new year was from the mythology that George Lucas gave to us with Luke Skywalker, nee Starkiller, way back in 1977.
The work was created using Corel Painter, ProCreate, adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop and a host of custom brushes developed over the last year or two, during the pandemic.
