There are some stars that can be easily identified by their first name: Marilyn, Greta, Madonna. However, there is only one Jack, really. This is a portrait of the legendary Jack Nicholson in his role as Jack Torrance in Stanley Kubrick’s adaptation of “The Shining”, by Steven King
There are lots of great stories about Jack over the years and his performances. This character has to be one of his most recognizable and oft-quoted portrayals in his long and storied career. Jack’s performance, as usual, raised the expectations of every horror movie to follow after this film was released.
