Early concepts for a piece in the group collective #TerrorTwins art show taking place on line through October and in gallery in London. This show is the brainchild of Si Heard and Cherie Chapman to celebrate film sequels; since the show will run through October, much of work is themed to the horror and sci-fi genres.
I chose one of my favorite franchises, Alien, as my subject for my piece. These two illustrations are early concepts for the show which I ultimately abandoned in favor of another idea which I will reveal as part of the October showing of #TerrorTwins.
Once word got out, another friend Jack Woodhams who runs the PosterSpy community, worked his connections to bring this artwork to an IRL gallery show in London the weekend of November 26-28, 2021.
Si, Cherie, and Jack are super important to the art community and I am happy to call them friends. They are incredibly supportive and dedicated to bringing out the best in the world community of artists.
Although I won’t be able to attend the show in person, I am stoked to be part of the show and look for my release through the #TerrorTwins coming October 25, 2021.
