Sketch portrait of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, also known as Captain America. Although Chris had been in a Marvel movie before, as Johnny Storm in The Fantastic Four, his performance of Captain America really made him a star. It would be hard to imagine the Marvel Cinematic Universe without Chris Evans playing this iconic role.

This was a personal diversion to make something in the physical world after so many years focused solely on digital software. I was given a vintage Star Wars Stormtrooper helmet and I decided to give it a classic Iron Man paint job – with a little battle damage.
The helmet was my first prop and have continued building and creating more props since then which will invariably show up on the feed here.

This is the first poster in a series that presents the Mountain Ranges of the Walt Disney Company’s theme parks as stylistically tied to the WPA posters of the early 1900s. Stylisitically, drawing from the intent of those marvelous posters and creating a natural park feel for this first mountain range – The Buena Vistas, Eastern Range.
I am planning on a full series of posters encompassing the worldwide ranges from Disneyland in Shanghai to Walt Disney World in Lake Buena Vista. This first series, now complete, encompasses: Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain, and Expedition Everest.
