I find that model-making and prop building has become a welcome diversion to the enterprise software and design work I spend much of my time working in. Since, Bandai makes some amazing models, it also feeds the Star Wars nerd gene in me too.

New custom set of watercolor brushes for Adobe Photoshop. These are created from original scans of samples made with Winsor & Newton series 7 brushes using india ink on hot-pressed illustration paper. The scan sizes of the brushes are up to thousands of pixels wide in order to capture the full stroke and detail of the brush but these samples are using a brush at 40 pixels wide. I still have some experimenting to do with these as well as determining how to release these; Gumroad, Creative Market, or my own new Patreon page?

Portrait of the super-villain, Thanos, as depicted by Josh Brolin in the Marvel Cinmeatic Universe (MCU). The character, created by Jim Starlin, first appears in Iron Man #55 in February of 1973 and became a foil for many of the major characters in Marvel Comics for decades.
The original story for the Infinity Gauntlet had Thanos’ motivation to kill half of the population of the universe driven by his desire for Mistress Death. Absent from the Marvel Cinematic Stories was Adam Warlock, who played a key role in the comic books; although he was alluded to in the closing credits of Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Hopefully he will appear in the next chapter of the MCU.
