Portrait of Charlie Cox as Matthew Murdock, also known as Daredevil, from the eponymous Netflix series and soon to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
The great success of the show was certainly the casting but equally important was the writing. Daredevil had always been a local hero and the writer’s understood the mythology of this particular Marvel character exceptionally well. The storylines focused on small-scale events that impacted the neighborhood, Hell’s Kitchen, of Daredevil.
AsI frequently do with my illustrations that lend themselves to this extension, I also created an alternative movie poster as a one-sheet for the PosterSpy community.
