Portrait of Bryan Cranston as Walter White from "Breaking Bad"

Bryan Cranston was always a comedic actor in my mind, as well as most others I imagine. From his portrayal of Tim Whatley on “Seinfeld” to the long-suffering dad on “Malcolm in the Middle” he was a comedic pro. That changed with his portrayal of Walter White in AMC TV’s “Breaking Bad“. The cancer-stricken chemistry teacher who turns to making meth in order to pay for his treatments and then turns into the drug kingpin, Heisenberg.

His ability to play the character as frightening and likeable is a testament to his talent as an actor and dedication to his craft. I continue to be a fan of his work and created this composite illustration as a further experimentation of the intaglio-technique using Adobe Illustrator, Corel Painter, and Adobe Photoshop.
