An intaglio-styled portrait of Keanu Reeves as John Wick for the upcoming fourth installment in the franchise.
A lot of work goes into these illustrations and many things can change throughout the process – especially as you translate an illustration into a poster concept. This is a simple portrait using the refinements to my engraving, or intaglio, technique that uses custom patterns created in Adobe Illustrator to mimic the effect of an engraved piece.
